Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 October 2026
This policy explains how vivekkhare.org (“this site”), the personal website and software portfolio of Dr. Vivek Khare, handles information about visitors. This site is an informational page: it has no user accounts, no contact forms and no checkout.
Information we collect
- Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting server automatically records technical request data — IP address, browser user-agent, the page requested, referring page and time of the request. These logs are used only to keep the site secure and working, and are retained for a limited period by our hosting provider.
- No cookies on this page. The vivekkhare.org homepage and this policy page do not set cookies, and do not use analytics or tracking scripts.
Third-party services
- Google Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google servers and Google receives your IP address. See Google’s privacy policy.
- External links. Links to LinkedIn, GitHub and OSI Global take you to sites with their own privacy practices.
Products on subdomains
Products listed on this site — Jyotish Tarang, Bookworm, Updated, Sentra and EasyGenealogy — run as separate applications. Each may collect account, usage or payment data needed to provide its service and is governed by its own terms and privacy notice. This policy covers vivekkhare.org pages only.
Advertising and analytics
This site does not currently show advertising or run analytics. If advertising (for example Google AdSense) or analytics are introduced, this policy will be updated before they go live to describe the cookies used, how third-party vendors such as Google use them to serve ads based on prior visits, and how you can opt out through Google Ads Settings.
How information is used and shared
Server log data is used only for security, abuse prevention and site operations. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
